As of October 1st, 2010, EMT has a total of 480 low floor buses, 425 of which feature a special system of kneeling and ramp to facilitate access for people with reduced mobility. Each of these buses, which are spread over all the lines of the EMT provides a platform with safety belts aside for 1 or 2 wheelchairs, which is located in the central part of the bus. The last 40 buses purchased in 2009 and 2010, have a dual ramp system (automatic and manual) to ensure the reliability of this accessory.
